Queenstown MRT at doorstep

If location is your priority, Queens is really hard to complain about. Queenstown MRT is practically at the doorstep, and most of the way is sheltered which is a life saver when raining. I work in town so getting to Orchard and CBD is very easy, no need to drive. There are also buses nearby and plenty of food options around the area. Inside the condo feels quite different from outside though, because the grounds are big and the pool is HUGE. Not those tiny pools where everyone fight for space on weekends. Units are also very spacious with proper rooms, which is why I chose this over newer condos.

MASSIVE swimming pool

The swimming pool at Queens is massive and I was so impressed by this. We swim so much on the weekends since moving here. There’s also basketball court, two tennis courts and badminton court, so plenty to do without leaving the condo. The estate is quite large too, doesnt feel like everyone is packed together. Our unit has a very practical layout, big rooms and proper storage, which was much better than some newer places we viewed. MRT is literally 2 minutes away and sheltered, so very convenient for work and school. There is even a friendly black cat hanging around the carpark which my children love.

Land space is an asset

Queens has its quirks, but I still like living here. The whole development has a lot of land, so even though there are many units it doesnt feel too crowded. Most important for me is the apartment size. Rooms are squarish and spacious, no wasted corners or giant planters. It's a 2002 dev so some common areas look tired and the lifts have had their problems before. I'd rather have an older spacious home than a brand new shoebox. MRT downstairs is the cherry on top.
