Le Marque is a freehold condominium development located at, 6 Keng Chin Road, District 10 (Bukit Timah, Grange, Holland). The property was completed back in 1993, with a total of 40 units by Toa Corporation. In 2006, Le Marque was sold for S$66 million through an en bloc sale. The property was bought by Far East Organization, which was redeveloped it into Cyan Condominium in 2014.

Le Marque Developer

Toa Corporation has a history of more than 100 years. The company was founded back in 1908 in Japan and only by 1963 they branched out to Singapore with an office. Since then, they have been pursuing construction contracts in the country, which includes reclamation in Pulau Tekong, Pasir Panjang Terminal — Phase II, III & IV, Pulau Semakan Offshore Landfill Project and more. In 2008, the Company celebrated the 100th anniversary of its founding.

Le Marque Selling Details

Le Marque was sold to Far East Organization in September 2016. It was reported that Far East Organization paid S$145.5 million for the site comprising three adjoining properties — Century Ville, Le Marque and Villa Margaux. La Marque was reported to be in the region of S$66 million for 72,162 square feet of gross floor area, which would make the price work out to S$924 per square feet. The area was redeveloped into Cyan Condominium in 2014, currently selling for around S$1.45 million for its 656 square feet units.
