Kids settled in nicely
Moved to The Sixth Avenue Residences before having kids and now that they are in the picture, very happy we stayed. The kids have their own little community here and usually can find someone to play with at the playground or pool in the late afternoon. Management also organises things sometimes, like Halloween, which is quite nice. Facilities are surprisingly easy to book. And having not one but TWO 50m pools is fantastic, especially when I want to do proper laps. The estate is peaceful and there’s lots of greenery, so doesnt feel like you’re in busy Singapore. Safe, quiet and enough space.

low density, green, peaceful
The Sixth Avenue Residences is low density, very green and peaceful, which is quite hard to find in Singapore nowadays. I usually walk to Sixth Avenue MRT, around 8-10 mins, and there are cafes and small food places along the way. Holland Village and Orchard are also easy by bus or car. there are pools, and also tennis court and a small gym, although gym could be better. The gardeners are very friendly and the grounds are well maintained. Have been living here for about a year and slowly falling in love with the place!

Only 175 units at The Sixth Avenue Residences so it feels quite private and peaceful. For me thats the main attraction. facilities not too crowded. Tennis court also a bonus. security is strict, which I appreciate though it may feel a bit stifling. my unit does suffer from a lack of breeze and is quite dark but i turn on my aircon, fan and lights. anyway i'm mostly not at home in the day. wouldn't trade this quiet environment over a mega condo with 1,000 units. Freehold also gives me some comfort for the long term.
