  how much is market price for rental of bigger size (1324 sq.m.) 3+1 Rooms in Avila Gardens ? (3 bedroom + 1 store room). Some of the 3-bedroom units, do not have store room in Avila Gardens.

  I have viewed a room for rent and the AGENT/OWNER had requested for a deposit without the LOI ) to reserve the place .Also there were conditions that the room was just for a person. I had transferred one month deposit fee without the LOI assuming the AGENT/OWNER ( same person) shall send it ,, However after a week' I realized my son who is serving NS had to join me almost everyday to stay .The rental room was not suitable based on this development . I had informed promptly the AGENT/OWNER about my status .He just said OK and since then he is not keen to attend to my messages or calls as he is not keen to return my deposit paid .Please note there were no LOI signed too ..So my point is as a qualified /registered agent , does he not supposed to follow the process and also consider returning my deposit paid .I have all the proof of the transaction and his details .Since he is not attending to my calls neither responding to my messages ,, Shall I go ahead registering a police compliant or with his property Agency about this case. Your advice please . to me it felt like a scam or cheat and would like in future no one like getting into his traps ,

  Hi, i have a question i want to clarify. Say I am buying a Resale Flat for 340k. For the Stamp duties fee for the flat, that works out to about $5000, would I be able to use the money inside my CPF to pay for them? (I do have sufficient amount) I read somewhere that you need to pay cash 1st then after that CPF will return you the money? Is that true? First, you can only use the money in your OA. Next, if you’re buying an already completed house (the house is not under construction), you must pay the stamp duties in cash first. You can then claim the amount from your CPF later (contact the CPF Board for more details). Stamp duties are due within 14 days of completing your property purchase.   HI , Looking for some expert advice here. I am a foreigner rented whole unit for 2 years. My lease is expiring on Jan 19th. When the owners agent tried to renew the lease , it seems like the foreigner quota is not available in my block. Is the foreigner quota mandatory for renewal also, if that is the case will there be any quota available once my lease expires and i vacate. I have registered school for my kid and both tenant and landlord want to renew the lease . Please help with your advice.
