  Dear Gurus, my mom is above 55 and is thinking of selling her 5rm HDB in Jurong. I would like to find out the following before entering the market: 1) current HDB is under no loan, CPF used for existing property is at approx. $10k. is she required to top up funds from her cash proceeds to meet the minimum sum? 2) she has been widowed since last year and we went down to HDB office to enquire about her next BTO purchase but were informed that she is unable to as she does not form a family nucleus, she is considered as a 2nd timer. What are our other options? 3) Her HDB unit is very run down, will there be any buyers in this current market?

  Hi, my fiancé and I would like to purchase a resale flat with HDB grants. Does anybody know if we have 3 or 6 months after purchasing the flat to show our marriage cert or is it compulsory to show our marriage cert during first or second appointment before the resale flat sale completes? We are planning to make a small wedding reception at our new place therefore it would be the ideal situation if we can show our marriage cert after the resale flat transaction and renovation is completed.

  Hi, I would like to know if placed an offer price of 450K for a resale flat then the valuation price is 500K. What would be the final purchase price of the flat? Is it my price? Understand that as long as the offer price is lower than valuation price i will not be required to fork out cash, correct?

  Hi, I am a Singapore Citizen and my spouse is a foreigner who holding a more than 6 months SPass working in Singapore. i) May I know what are the eligible scheme for purchasing a HDB flat? ii) If eligible, after my CPF Housing grant and housing loan, roughly how much should I pay for the up front and subsequent monthly installment?   Silver housing bonus. my parents are 67 and 65 and their 4 room HDB in jurong east is 33 years old and I intend to persuade them to sell to my brother for $300,000 and for them to buy a BTO. Can any agent advise how this is done and how the parents can get the silver housing grant to downgrade. What would be their monthly payout from their CPF life then? can they still get a loan for their housing? or can top up the difference so they have a fully paid house?

  I have a 3NG HDB property purchased in August 2015. I am a PR. I have only 1Y plus remaining of my MOP. And due to personal and unforeseen circumstances outside my control like difficulties in paying my kids(Long Term Pass Holder) next year school fee, if i want to give up my PR and sell my HDB with in MOP.
