Tanjong Pagar

Tanjong Pagar is a colourful and tidy corner of the Central Business District, lined with multi-coloured shophouses and office buildings. The area is known for its boutique stores, artisanal eateries, and most notably its many Korean BBQ restaurants and convenience stores.

Tanjong Pagar is a good mix of old and new street charm, resembling its neighbours Chinatown and Telok Ayer. It may not be one of Singapore's most popular residential areas, however it is still well-connected with plenty of amenities within reach, and the fact that it does not have too many residential buildings only adds more to its charm.
