A common grouse about Punggol is the lack of amenities. That may have been true in the past, but the opening of Punggol Plaza and Waterway Point have helped put that complaint to bed. Additionally, Punggol Plaza and Waterway Point are conveniently located near Coral Edge LRT station and Punggol MRT station respectively.

In addition, amenities in Punggol are expected to increase significantly in line with the government’s plans to develop Punggol Digital District. There is also a white site in Punggol that is up for sale under the reserve list of the current Government Land Sales programme. Savvy developers will look at this site as an opportunity to get a foot in this up-and-coming neighbourhood.
