Paya Lebar Central is a new 12ha sub-regional centre comprising a mix of office, retail and residential developments. The area’s local identity has also been enhanced with Wisma Geylang Serai, a new pedestrian mall and plaza space along Geylang Road.

In recent years, several new developments in Paya Lebar have been completed such as Paya Lebar Square, KINEX and the Workforce Development Agency’s Lifelong Learning Institute.

KINEX

Opened in 2014, KINEX mall in Paya Lebar Central features more than 150 shops offering a range of shopping, edutainment and F&B outlets spread over three-storeys. The anchor tenants of the mall are Cold Storage and Food Junction.

There are close to 50 restaurants, cafes and eateries that have opened at KINEX like Paradise Group, which opened three restaurants in KINEX, Fika Café – a Swedish halal café, GyuKaku, Baikohken Ramen and Papparich.

KINEX also has a large cluster of enrichment schools for children ranging from brain development to science, and dance to arts. These include MindChamps Reading, Global Art, Heguru Education Centre, Taekwondonomics and Juzmusic.

The nearby Paya Lebar MRT interchange on the East-West and Circle lines and major expressways also attracts shopper traffic from other neighbourhoods in Singapore.

Paya Lebar Square

Strategically located right next to Paya Lebar MRT interchange is Paya Lebar Square, a mixed commercial development comprising a 10-storey premium-grade office tower and a three-storey retail podium.

Completed in 2015, Paya Lebar Square was certified Green Mark Gold Plus by the Building and Construction Authority.

Paya Lebar Square is just a few MRT stations away from the Central Business District and Changi Airport. It is also accessible via various expressways including the Pan Island Expressway (PIE), Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) and East Coast Parkway (ECP).

SingPost Paya Lebar

The new SingPost Centre in Paya Lebar Central is a five-storey shopping mall that opened in 2017. Tenants at SingPost Centre include food court operator Kopitiam, an eight-hall cineplex by Golden Village and supermarket NTUC FairPrice.

Located next to Paya Lebar MRT interchange, SingPost Centre features a 3,330 sq ft General Post Office, which offers traditional counter service and technology-enabled innovations like POPStations and eSAM machines. SingPost Centre also houses a unique heritage corner that showcases SingPost’s 150 years of history.
