Aside from this, two more stops on the upcoming Thomson-East Coast line are being built in the Orchard area right now. These include an expansion to the Orchard station, behind ION Orchard, and the upcoming Orchard Boulevard station, located next to Camden Medical Centre.

Bus services in Orchard Road
While there are no bus interchanges in the Orchard area, there are numerous bus services that connect the area with other areas in the city core or suburban neighbourhoods. The below bus services cover most of the island, and, together with rail links, make it easy for commuters to get to most of Singapore from Orchard Road.
Driving to and from Orchard Road
For motorists, Orchard is accessible via the Central Expressway, which is connected via Moulmein Road, Newton Road and Scotts Road.
However, as Orchard is located within the city core, be aware that there are several ERP gantries in the area, including on Orchard Road itself and in the Fort Canning Tunnel, as well as on Clemenceau Avenue, Killiney Road, Orchard Link, Orchard Turn and Cairnhill Road. Also expect to pass ERP gantries on the CTE en route to Orchard.
While most ERP gantries only operate during morning and evening rush hours, the main ERP gantries along Orchard Road operate between 12 noon to 8pm. Prices vary according to the hours and the vehicle type.
