Upcoming homes in Ang Mo Kio

There were no new BTO launches during the past 12 months in Ang Mo Kio. In fact, the last BTO launch was for Ang Mo Kio Court in May 2016 which offered a total of 590 units. However, there were two private property launches during the past 12 months. The first launch comprises the first phase of Nim Collection by Bukit Sembawang Estates that was launched in May 2018 with an average price of $2.8 million to $3 million. Located off Ang Mo Kio Ave 5, this 99-years leasehold landed property will offer 98 housing units when it completes in 2021.

The second launch is a freehold development called Belgravia Green by Fairview Developments Pte Ltd. Comprising of 81 strata landed housing units, Belgravia Green is located within easy access to shopping malls such as Greenwich V, Seletar Mall and Hougang 1, as well as many good schools such as Lycee Francais De Singapour, Chatsworth International School and Nanyang Polytechnic, just to name a few.

Looking ahead, given the limited land supply within Ang Mo Kio, new housing precincts that will be developed at Lentor Hills and Kebun Baru are expected to be highly sought after. This is because Ang Mo Kio is a very mature township. In addition, the said precincts will be served by the upcoming Lentor and Mayflower MRT stations respectively via the Thomson-East Coast Line. This, together with the upcoming North-South Corridor will enhance connectivity for existing and new residents here as well as increase the attractiveness of Ang Mo Kio.
