SO CENTRAL!
you'd think staying at Orchard Road is where it's at, but no! Toa Payoh is the ultimate central convenience, especially here at Trevista, which is a short walking distance to two MRT stations, a bustling town centre, and a popular school just across the road! this is so fantastic, my girl is so happy she can sleep longer and because I work down the road, I can do the same as well and go home for lunch! my ideal housing, all the supermarkets and eateries and markets here. although for now the sports complex is renovation but i always use the facilities at the condo anyway. -

well maintained condo
Trevista is one of the nicest condo in this area, built 2012 and still well maintained even now. looks so grand with the central fountain at the driveway, with nice swimming pool and everything I need within walking distance. such an elegant place, with tight security. very involved management team too. ehhh but those who cannot stand noise, might find the water fountain gushing at the front too loud and the school children chatter slightly annoying. for me, i just love these sounds of feng shui and happiness. just don't drive and clash with the parents sending kids to sch or picking them up. it's the same everywhere but one thing to be living right next to the congestion situation lol though i think not as bad as other schs -

5 pools on diff levels
truly a beautiful place, Trevista has such lovely pools, with 5 on diff levels that are always cleaned well not slimy. we even have an aqua gym and relfexology path that my mother in law loves. plus there's also a small rock climbing wall for my kiddos to enjoy.. with tennis court. common areas can get a bit crowded though, due to the popularity of this condo and cos it's in a dense neighbourhood. but in general, unit layout is satisfying, location is breezy, walk a little bit to save money on cheap but good hawker food. function room and bbq is also more than adequate for my parties. think it's almost perfect. -

Nice but overpriced
Has a very nice pool with jaccuzi and tennis court as facilities. However, the units have bay windows and a big balcony so living space is compromised. There are a lot of birds dropping on the window and aircon ledges as well and most of the units get a lot of hot sun. Nice amenities nearby such as mrt is within 5 minute's walk and a wet and hawker center. Near 2 good schools within 1km. Toa Payoh township lacks a shopping mall though. -

Trevista is one of the few relatively new mega condo built in Toa Payoh. It is actually only 4 minutes walk to the Braddell MRT station. One downside is that it is surrounded by clusters of HDB flats -

Good investment definitely
With the new Raffles Girls School within walking distance, this is definitely a good investment. Soon caldecott MRT interchange will also be completed. circle line, thomson line, N-S line all can walk -

strict interior rules
Condo management interferes to much on the interior . Cannot install fan at balcony . Cannot install decking to cover planter. -

Not bad actually
saw the negative review of the estate and hesitate to view units here. however glad i went to see a few recently. security is tight..good sign..though i must say the carpark not very friendly to visitors,..residents ok but visitors got to go one round and down to B2 which is quite empty actually,..another good sign. agree the condo is packed over a small square footage..however nowadays which newly built condo is not?..plot ratio is 4.2..definitely built to the sky! when i was there on a saturday, was surprised to see not many pool users,..some expat family with kids. another expat family having bbq. yet another expat group playing tennis..so agents were not crapping when they say 'expat choice'..din see the overcrowding situation?! the fittings used in this condo is actually quite good,..doors are very heavy and switches is of a better quality than the newer condos which i have seen,..they dont make things the way they used to. went to skyvue and the price is way higher than here. granted junction 8 is next door but skyvue only 2 mrt lines...circle and north south. while trevista has 3 lines - north south, circle (caldecott) and the up and coming thomson (caldecott); though the latter 2 lines has a bit of walking to do...but still walkable (10min). as for the up and coming gem residences...did not go and see as caldecott would be out of walking distance,...so only 1 N-S line nearby. furthermore price is actually comparable to trevista! i have not committed yet,..but seriously thinking..alas,..when will govt remove the cooling measures?..sian. that said reckoned that this place is not for the short term flippers, it is actually for people camping for the longer term. there may be a small boost in price when thomson line opens, but really to see good cap appreciation, i think has to wait for inflation to do its magic. cheers all. -

Beware of inflexible management
Location is good. But before you move in as tenant and owner, please beware of this inflexible and rude condo manager. She runs the place like her personal kingdom. Management can affect your way of life living in this condo, unless you do not mind a dictator running your residential compound, by all means move into trevista and all the best! Also, an inflexible management will affect the ability of your unit to be rented out as it creates alot of inconvenience for both tenants and their family. Hence, before you buy a unit here for investment, consider how bad condo management can affect your rental yield too. Concerned Resident -

Disappointment
We moved in when it was new. Was good mix of foreigners and local. But we find apartment is not soundproof. We can hear our neighbours from several floors up. There is only one pool for all residents and it is always full of people over the weekend. If u swim on weekday, maybe it is better. one day I have day off I went swimming and pool was very dirty. We moved because the mix of residents has changed. Very dirty and noisy. I don't suggest staying on lower floor. You can smell heavy oil cooking and loud talking and kids screaming. -
