  Freehold Odeon Katong is a mix of commercial and residential. Variety of eateries on the first storey, even have services like TCM, and there's even a church in this building so it's been very vibrant and lively. Despite that, only 30 units so it's very private and homely aswell.

  Good space

  Old apartment but with great amenities nearby and at the heart of Katong. Great potential to renovate a dream home. Waiting for mrt line to come in 2023

  Not much Enbloc Potential

  Went to view a unit. I must admit the unit has a good sea and city view. Other than that, there are 4 key setbacks; 1) Some units are rented to workers and nightlife 2) Rental is rather low. 3) Majority of the developments are owned by Cornerstone which is a Church as such, very low chance to obtain 80% enbloc. 4) Suspect the development and the one next to it Katong Shopping Centre is fully built to plot ratio.
