best location, good facilities, kind manageme
The pool is big with a Jacuzzi area and it's facing somewhere where it's not too bright not too dark and just right. it's also windy inside. and it has a good view. The gym's have everything essential with a multi function room and a tennis court and a barbecue pit that you can reserve. the people are always pleasetnt and kind and the room's are spacious. overall the condo is near orchard and is very easy to access shops. There's a big parking lot and you can park your bicycle. the management office is also kind and active. the condo also add's decoration's for celebration's and sometimes there are little treat's. The security system's are quite good with 24 hr. security. Therefore "The Laurels" is the best condo I've ever been, so I recommend this condo to everyone from young to old. -

The places are all luxurious and the pool is nice. The management office people are always kind and active. -

Best Location, Lobby, and wind
I really love this condominium. I previously stayed in ion and when i opened my window it was noisy and very hot. In this condominium however, iT IS SO PEACEFUL AND WINDY. I really wish i got the ground floor unit, especially the #01-05. It has a HUGE patio with 3 bedrooms and it is at a corner but it was very expensive so i bought the unit above but no regrets still love the wind and the view of the swimming pool. The lobby is so good plus there are like more than 4 lobbies with italian furniture. Even tough the land of the project is a small for a condominium it doesn't feel like it. -

excellent location
The Laurels is very near to the Orchard shopping belt yet far enough from the noise. Its location is excellent with it being in between Orchard and Somerset MRT stations. The builder has done a good job with the interior and exterior finishes. I agree that the guards are polite and always welcoming. My agent Ms Evon Foo has found me my choice unit. I highly recommend The Laurels for quality living at a great price. -

A very good condominium, fantastic location
This condo is in the best and the most prestigous location in singapore. I don't know how the reviewer gave 1 for nearby amenities. Paragon is just opposite. It is just a minute walk to main orchard. These are the last batch of condominiums very close to orchard. The facilities are very good. The finishes are also quite good for the price of the condominium. I mean i wonder what finishes the reviewer want. Can't expect finishes from marq residences for a four million dollar property. All i am saying is that the reviewer was wrong and just because a few guards were rude, you can't just rate everything one. In fact they are nice to me. I am staying here in rental but i am considering to buy one due to the value for money. -

Better than it's neighbours
The Laurels is a high class living condominium but there are small flaws like the security may be little impolite, that is what i thought when i came the first time but after staying here, they have changed some guards. The swimming pool is quite nice and the breeze you get is like unlike any condominium in orchard. Well i have to admit the land size is a little small and so too is the gym but there is the Sky terrace where you can unwind in the jacuzzi while seeing the view. My favorite thing about this condominium is the lobby. They have done a very good job with it. The Urban resort doesn't even have one and it is said that it is more "exclusive" but i don't think so. -

Rude guards and poor mgt
I have a very unpleasant experience viewing the units in this development. On more than one occasion the guards are rude and unhelpful and just sat there doing nothing but chat. There's an indian lady who is rude by asking guests rudely to register and instead of letting guests park at the side ask the driver to alight. Also do not even bother to give clear instructions. The next one is an older guard who said "You can't wait here. I'll let you park at the guest parking for free" with a sarcastic voice. I find them really appalling for a high-end condo and I had decided not to take up the unit because I do not want my guests being subjected to these type of rude people. Either the mgt have to do something about them or I will start telling all my company colleagues to avoid the whole development. -
