old condo - spacious units - facilities are o
Condo is old, so the units tend to be bigger in size. However most of them have an odd layout. If the unit has not been renovated/completely redone, it is super old (=don't rent). Location is great for MRT (newly opended) and outdorr activities. There are NO coffee shops,grocery store, not even a 7 eleven close by. Neareset grocery stroe is at Kallang Wave Mall. The condo doesn't have a BBQ pit (often adverteised differently). The gym has been recently relocasted but all statioanry weight equipment has been removed. Pool is too short to do a proper swim in. The roof top is nice, but lacking BBQ. -

Superb Location
An amazing apartment with a fantastic location, only a 1-minute walk from the subway, making it convenient to go anywhere. It's very close to the city center, near natural surroundings, most important, very quiet, peaceful! -

Excellent Condominium close to nature and the
Close to the MRT and shopping. Lifts are being renovated. The only condo i know of that has a rooftop social area. Close to nature and walking paths -

Superior property
Its a very nice property, and the biggest USP is its flats interior with such nice views of Sea and ship all day, haha. Its very quiet and the atmosphere for kids is so nice. -

Great location
A perfect place for work life balance and family living being connected to all major expressways, Tg Rhu MRT station doorstep(2023), Sports Hub, Marina Bay area connector park, seaview and city views -

Nice estate despite age
Love the estate after having stayed for few months here. Dev has gone through a gd refurbishment lately and had a nice gathering at the rooftop to view fireworks with friends during NY. What i love TR: - Not having to squeeze with people at pool or gym (machines are pretty new) - Basement carpark has ample space for parking - Abt 13mins leisure walk to Stadium MRT (can take me to major malls within mins - Been doing more jogs as is near to parks and has direct access to Marina Barrage It's nice to see families gathering and joggers near the bridge during evening time. Close to city but yet away from the crowd. -

Unbeatable view and great location
We have a unit on one of the higher floors of Tanjong Ria condo and the view is really superb - while many of the condos in Tanjong Rhu have either a good view of Kallang river OR a good view of the sea, some of the units in the higher floors of Tanjong Ria have both. From our living room you can see the sea and the golf course, from our bed room we can see Marina Bay and the fireworks, from our study you can see the kallang river - it is really a panoramic view. Unlike other properties where the common corridors are dark and enclosed, the design of this condo is such that the common corridors leading to apartments are open, allowing for bright sunlight and good ventilation. The other common areas also appear quite well-maintained, unlike what some of the earlier reviews say, especially after the recent refurbishment. There is also a rooftop garden with panoramic views that can be booked for functions. In addition, we are cyclists and given that Tanjong Rhu is now connected to Marina Bay via the park connector network, we have found it possible to ride virtually the entire distance to our offices in Shenton way via the park connector in about 20-30 min. We regularly walk to do groceries at the Cold Storage in Kallang Leisure Park ~10 min walk away. Tanjong Rhu is really a wonderful location and we cannot imagine living anywhere else in Singapore - it would be hard to find anywhere else this mix of being near to convenient amenities, being close to town and being near to parks and green spaces. This development is one of the best values in the Tanjong Rhu area. -

Best value in Tanjong Rhu
I must disclose upfront I've bought a unit here and moved in a few months ago, so will try to remove any bias. Honestly we are very happy with our decision. As pointed out by the previous reviewer, the condo was in need of refurbishment in early 2011 - The project has been under way over the past few months and is now nearly completed. Tanjong Ria has been completely refreshed with the new paint (changing to cream from the previous white colour which showed rust stains), re-tiling and other works. Tanjong Rhu is a great family and healthy living location with the walking paths around the reservoir and access to East Coast. There is huge upside here with the sports centre and Gardens by the Bay coming in a few years, as well as long term MRT station on the ERL line. Since Stadium MRT opened last year it is 10 minutes walk to the Circle line which quickly connects to Dhoby Ghaut. Perfect location for those working in the Suntec area. One downside on the condo facilities is not BBQ areas, but it does have a squash court and roof garden that can be booked. Prices have been creeping up this year, mostly catching up with surrounding condos like Sanc Green, but also now propelled by the condo re-furb which has definitely increased the value of Tanjong Ria. However I still find it the best value in Tanjong Rhu (along with perhaps Casuarina Cove, and Parkshore if you insist to buy freehold), and is an excellent choice to invest or owner occupy. -

Condo that is in need of major refurbishment
No quite sure that I agree with the other reviews seen here. Have seen a couple of units here and not impressed. Common areas not well maintained and it looks like the building is badly in need of fresh coat of paint and refurbishment. he basement carpark is not well maintained and has a constant foul smell. Much work needed. -
