NOT quiet at all
Agent said area s tranquil and great for quiet living - WRONG! Place is far from everything. Need to walk everywhere without shelter. If you are new to Singapore, do not get fooled by the "10-min walk" in advertisements. It is NOT doable in Singapore's hot and humid climate unless you like being in a sauna all the time. Full of noisy people who have 0 consideration for others. Shame because the condo is quite nice. -

Was good, could be better
When I first moved here two years ago it was really good: - Management was performing the right actions (keeping everything tidy and clean) - Security guards were extremely helpful and understanding - There were no construction sites - Facing the pool meant facing greeneries and shophouses Since Summer last year (2016): - As someone else reviewed, there're constantly pool parties that around 10pm are moved to flat parties and/or balcony parties. This is quite painful as it happens on a weekly basis as soon as it's not raining. Flat/balcon parties can last till really late at night... - Security isn't helpful anymore: no action taken to shut down parties even at 2am(!) despite multiple calls and extremely picky on deliveries (a deliveroo guy on a bike isn't really blocking anything at the entrance, don't kick him/her out!) - Management is laggy when it comes to communication (if you are going to do vape all the entrance to kill mosquitos, please do inform so we aren't present when this happens) So yes. It was good. Could be way better now. Won't be renewing my lease. I would recommend this place only if you never have to wake up early or if you don't have babies that could be woken up because neighbors decided 1am on Sunday is a party time. -

Warning! Loud parties and barbeques
One major complaint I have while living in this condo was the large number of parties particularly near the barbeque area on the ground floor at night. If you live directly above this area, it can be extremely noisy and disturbing, especially because the security guards do not enforce the rules for parties to finish up by 10 pm. If you are sensitive to noise and do not want to be disturbed in the evening, I would highly advise to live on a higher floor or a unit that is not facing the pool area. -

Spottiswoode Residences
Very central location just outside of the CBD (central business district). In an extremely quaint area with conserved peranakan houses. Location is just steps away from 2 MRT stations and you a few stops from Raffles Place. Ideal for small families. -

Spottiswoode Residences
Beautiful design with generous balconies and some with gorgeous view of the city and port. Surrounding area is quiet and slow. Near to chinatown and MRT stations there. There are some F&B outlets around plus simple heartland amenities. -

Good investment potential
Spotisswoode Residence is located at a really good place, in between Chinatown and Shentonway. It is also near the outram MRT station. I personally did a walk to the mrt station, and it only took me 5 minutes to get there. The selling point of this project is probably the potential development of the waterfront area. What are the chances of such development? Well I think the govt won't pay such a high price just to get back the railway station. They must have a big plan behind... Anyway, for those who still remember Carribean ... the value before and after the IR development in Sentosa is huge... So unless you are thnking of the Lakeside area (which is another potential development plot), it has to be Spotisswoode Residence. -
