  Wonderfully Unique

  There are very few properties in Singapore like Queensway Tower and Queensway Shopping Center. The residential area is well maintained, with spacious units, affable neighbours, and friendly maintenance staff. The condo lacks facilities, but it is surrounded by amenities and is well-connected. It is less than 25 minutes away from the CBD by bus (10 minutes by car on a good day). It is also accessible to the rail corridor and is a short walk away from the beautiful Southern Ridges. The commercial area is bustling with shops that offer variety that can no longer be found in mainstream, REIT-managed malls. From thrift shops, to comic book stores, tailors, and sporting goods (of course), this property is a unique enclave that throws back to a simpler time.

  Affordable housing in an excellent location

  Queensway is indeed an icon for many. this building is full of heritage and memories, for both the residents staying at the Queensway Tower and the storeowners at Queensway Shopping Centre below. Potential to enblock within 5 years.

  us residents at Queensway Tower are sure luck

  we have so much in this mixed development and around with Ikea's , Anchorpoint, ABC brickworks market, alexander market, and of course the downstairs is the legendary Queensway shopping centre!!! cheers to good times yeah

  Poor management / very selfish owners / poor

  Hi - am living here now and why I will NEVER buy this place. 1) Poor management and security - very rude, always smoking at one corner and barely at the reception desk. Always snaking off somewhere for a break. This means a lack of security for residents. 2) Very limited parking - each unit tagged to one lot; fair enough. However, if you do park wrongly or accidentally sometimes, the owners can get very nasty and paste nasty notes on your car. Some even park their car in front you blocking your access. What kind of neighbours do that when there are other empty lots around?? 3) Poor maintenance and upkeep - There's plenty of paint peeling/rusty pipes. Just go to the top floor 4) Selfish neighbours - they litter the walkway with plants, some of which are just breeding ground for mosquitoes

  Tenant Review

  Poor maintenance of drainage pipes resulted in sewage from apartment above, in our kitchen. Our sewage leaked into the apartment below. Management and/or owners are negligent with the maintainance. Great location, but clearly nobody wants to invest in upkeep at this shoddily kept old building anymore.

  Queensland Tower

  An old apartment with rather retro design but very conveniently located on Queensway shopping centre and relatively close to Orchard road and business district. some units have nice views of the sprawling grinners at Alexandra Hospital

  Viewing afterthoughts

  Pro: lower price, large units avail, decent greenery, integrated with retail. Price may appreciate with hotel diagonally across. Cons: noisy, not much facilities, maintenance needs to be improved. Mostly rented out units. Impossible to enbloc.

  Affordable housing in an excellent location

  On a PSF basis, it's only a slight premium (abt 10%) to HDB flats. Imagine ,the price of HDB for a freehold development at a location in vicinity of popular Queenstown,jus above popular Queensway Tower which is mins drive to NUS , Sentosa,Marina IR and orchard rd.The only downside is it's abt 35 years old design.Potential en bloc as well.
