Great Location, But Management and Amenities
I've lived in this condo for four years, and while it's about a 10-minute walk to Dhoby Ghaut MRT (with stairs), the central location is convenient. The apartments are basic but well-lit, though small for families. There's built-in Ethernet for fast internet, but the amenities are lacking—a tiny gym and large, cold pools that get little sun. Pigeons are a real issue, leaving droppings everywhere. The worst part is the security and management, who often harass visitors and delivery people, sometimes leading to arguments. It's clear they don't hire the most capable staff. -

Great location, average facilities, tiny unit
We have been in a small 1 bedroom unit for 2 years now and living in a new condo has been great. The 2 pools are brilliant, although get very little sun and are colder than other condo pools. We live on the 3rd floor and unfortunately above an old lady who yells and screams at all hours of the day and night - this is why we are moving out. Too small, too noisy, new development about to begin in 2014 next door and need some peace and quiet. Worth a short stay, but don't commit for too long! -

it's new?
I came here expecting to see a new apartment building (TOP recently) only to find an ordinary building that is peeling away and cracking around the ledges. I wasn't quite sure I was looking at the Parc Sophia until I see the sign. There will be a construction next door to this tightly-sandwiched apartment building so residents must brace themselves for another 3 years of loud noises no matter where they reside in the building. It's no longer city living without the noise anymore. it is close to orchard rd but still quite a walk there as u need to walk round a loop and there's no straight path down the hill to the MRT station. Great for expats for short stay; not so great for long-term living. -

Parc Sophia
Overall good to live with reasonable monthly rental. Small but nice swimming pool. Mrt is not that close the map shows. Have to pay SGD 30 for BBQ pit everytime you use - not refundable. There's owners' committee that can decide what to charge to tenants without agreement. 2 construction sites are nearby - hard to sleep in daytime. Recommended for working single expats - not for family -

Gem of a find
Lovely sanctuary in a vibrant city centre. Unbeatable location with wide range of amenities (food, shops, movies, university, art schools, museums etc), transport links and a hill-top park just a short walk away. Up and coming area with a charming, bohemian feel. Rare find as compared to the usual high rise apartment living in the city. -

Serenity in heart of the city
Strategic location at heart of the cultural/civic district, with excellent connectivity and amenities. Yet a peaceful and relaxing place (elevated ground, greenery) to come home to after a hectic day. Interior is relatively basic but functional, with good layout. Upside potential and downside resilience with surrounding redevelopments, proximity to educational institutes, arts/ cultural enclave and commercial/ transport hub. -

A sanctuary within the city
Great development and is freehold. Windy & good sized units. Near town, amenties, schools, MRT stations. Good potential for value appreciation, especially with the surrounding developments. -
