We’ve been fortunate to call this place home since 2018. It’s conveniently located beside Great World mall which has 2 supermarkets and a train station. Zion hawker is about 2 mins walk away so there are plenty of food options. By car, CBD is about 10-15mins drive away depending on traffic. TEL line is well connected and yet manageable even during peak hours. We are also right beside a PCN where the kids can scooter along safely. The management and security staff are friendly (I’ve witness a security guard performing magic tricks to the delight of the kids). The place is clean and our lifts and common facilities have been recently updated. This is a great place to for family with young kids (Motherswork at Great world!). 2 thumbs up!

We stayed at Melrose Park from 2011 until now. We enjoyed the place very much and used the pools and tennis court often. It is quiet and convenient. Our favorite restaurant is Bistro Du Vin around the corner. We sometimes go to the hawker center on Zion road and food court of Great World City. Recommends this place for families with children. The main downside is no MRT closeby.

Have been living here for over 2 years now. This place is extremely convenient-right next to Great World City, Zion Food Center, tons of nice restaurants and Valley Point, that it is difficult for us to move to another place in Singapore. We have two young children and since the estate has underground parking, there is ample of space for playground, walking space and a tennis court. There are three pools and two BBQ pits, which are frequently used by residents. The layout is excellent, with squarish rooms and no corridor which maximizes the usable space. The back-gate of Melrose Park allows residents to walk to Great World City by just crossing Zion road. The mall offers cinema, cold-storage, a large gym, ATMs, 7-11 and many other stores. Management and maintenance are good. It is off of the main road (River Vally Road) and so it is very quiet. The main noise is from the bells from the church across on Sunday mornings, around 9am. For people who do not drive, one can easily catch a cab or the free shuttle from Great World City. MRT is being built across from the mall and so it will even be better in the future. At night, if you walk to ION, it takes 15-20mins on foot. If you drive, you can drive directly to Orchard to get on CTE or to avoid the traffic jam during peak hours, you can drive towards Alexandra road to enter AYE. This route usually has smooth traffic. We have a great time living here and hope this info is useful for the house hunters.
