The Oceanfront @ Sentosa Cove
Posted by Mr. Micah Lim 林益才 on Jun 3, 2015
High Oceanfront has killer ocean views and is located at the tail end of Ocean Drive. Exclusive and stylist, a must for yuppies and sea lovers. The apartments are quite roomy and layouts are efficient. Besides the ocean, some units can also view the beautiful yachts at the dock

The attraction of this condo rests on its great location (though transport is a problem). Management is exasperatingly officious, interiors have cheapest possible interior materials and simply awful appliances (Miele) almost all of which continuously break down (microwave repair cost ~$1,000), all the water heaters have sprung leaks. Water was leaking from toilets to bathroom floor, outside common areas starting to look very tired. Metal scaffolding which covers the building is ugly form inside.

The World's Most Desirable Address
Posted by Covet on Aug 6, 2013
Sentosa Cove's tagline - after living here at the tip of the North Cove for some time now, I am inclined to agree with this. Honestly speaking, as the population in Singapore grows in number, finding a place that suits one's life and style is now more imminent than ever.
So, I must say, I feel extremely lucky to have found a perfect sanctuary at The Oceanfront @ Sentosa Cove - luxurious space, well-fitted out apartment with a view that is just picturesque - gorgeous skies, lush greenery, glistening water, gleaming boats beckoning. Life here is absolutely peaceful and tranquil, surreal even - a paradise for the soul.
Imagine never wanting or needing to leave home that also feels like a home-away-from-home, a six-star resort island hotel. Amazing, isn't it?
Let me share a little more with you - I can 'cruise' to work daily, choose happily to stay in on weekends, sip Nespresso on the expansive balcony while taking in the sights of glorious sunsets, enjoying true blue ocean breeze, listening to the sound of water everywhere being literally surrounded by it 360 degrees, or swim in a pool that opens up to the endless ocean, or whenever in the mood - eat, play and entertain at my doorstep at The Quayside or even at W Hotel next door, most importantly, do my grocery shopping - all on this exclusive island.
The Oceanfront also recently had a change of management and I must say they are rather amazing, very pro-active, extremely helpful and highly efficient. Aside from the regular shuttle service for residents, there's now even a conceirge to make life here even more perfect and convenient.
Thus, investment-wise, I must say it's absolutely worth it here - for this is truly a lifestyle second to none, at the world's most desirable address.

Love it!

Just read the post by "Martha Stewart" and I totally disagree. It's true that the shuttle service arrives every half hour but the bus is fairly empty most of the time.
Walking to the next condo to take a bus (if it's absolutely necessary) is like 20 seconds away if you walk REALLY SLOWLY. Must be really tough on Martha to brave the rain and the scorching sun for the entire 20 seconds. If you can afford the high price tag, why not get a car and quit whining?
There is a playground there and it definitely could be better but when you want to rent or buy an apartment, you can obviously see what you're going to get. So if you're not happy with it? Why rent or buy? As far as I know, none of the condos on Sentosa has badminton or basketball courts and so this condo is not any different from the rest.
Love the pool and the little cabanas by the pool. It's peaceful quiet and relaxing there. In addition, it will be even better after 2012 when the cafes and retail shops are a 5 minute walk away. It's a lovely project and the management has been very helpful. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the city and enjoys the peace and tranquility of living by the sea.
