  2min walk to MRT

  for residents, with access to the side gate, Horizon Residences is just a 2min walk to Haw Par Villa mrt, which is very convenient. this makes it slightly inconvenient for visitors as good and bad, the condo is on a hill, which means some climbing up. but also nicer elevated views of the Singapore sea area (industrlal cargo side).

  nature-ish feels

  landscaping and location of Horizon Residences at Pasir Panjang Hill near a landed enclave makes it a quiet nature-ish place. I will often see birds gathered at the condo, singing their bird songs as i head to the gym or go for a swim. there's also jacuzzi and bbq facilities. on the higher floor i have a good view of the harbour where many cargo ships dock. their twinkling lights can be observed from my room.

  good layout

  layout at Horizon Residences is good, with good airflow, natural light and a peaceful environment that I enjoy. the freehold condo offers low density living, with just 5 storeys and around 70 units. quite removed from bustling city, so do be prepared to order delivery, take a longer walk to get things or drive out. but that contributes to the nice tranquility. often nip into west coast park for a jog. a potential property for those working around greater southern waterfront area.

  Poor condo management and quality of building

  Caution to buyers and tenants on a few things: - Quality of building is poor; interior and exterior deteriorating faster than it should, main lift connecting to main road keeps breaking down; - Poor condo management: lots of changes in past 2 years, unstable and current condo manager is terrible. Absent and unreachable during office hours, upkeep and maintenance falling through the cracks; - Smart gate system used and not that great as visitors are often confused by why there's a security guard who essentially does nothing and doesn't open the gate for them even when intercom isn't working; - Location is poor; no nearby parks, supermarkets and only handful of restaurants / eateries nearby; - Everyone keeps to themselves - no community spirit.

  Horizon Residences

  Built on a slope, located right next to Haw Par Villa MRT station and a few MRT stops from Vivo City plus a few minutes drive to Science Park, AYE, Clementi Mall, West Coast Mall, what else can be said of this condo Pasir Panjang Road? Modern condo and interiors. Prices can be a steep but its worth it.
