Casa Fortuna Condo Review 2025
We went to view several units for purchase recently in July and were extremely impressued with the overall design and facilities of the development. The main entrance is unmamned with camera to grant access (owner pre-register cars are alowed before arrival) and entering into a pretty spacious level 1 guest carparks is pretty easy. The pool is very long and clean with many tables and BBq facilities. We love the environment and it is highly recommended for single, couple or m family with kids. As this condo is mainly occupied by middle or higher income professionals, it is an ideal living place and convenient to all food and ammenties. Environment is very quiet and peaceful -

the architect has cleverly designed the building such that no units really get direct west sun on its almost L shape land. -

Quite good value for freehold condo at Balest
Quite good value for freehold condo at Balestier, only around $1200-$1400psf. But you need to take note of the noise from expressway and quality of fittings, which can be overcome with renovations. -

Freehold, Excellent LOCATION
Minutes walk to a mall with supermarket and eatery (literally next door). Just across the bridge to reach one of the largest township (TPY) with lots of amenities (banks, markets, transport hub etc). -

Insects
Insects keep coming out from drain.Very bad cleanliness.Super budget structure. -

Lovely apartment, great shopping nearby
We rented a 2 bedroom apartment in Casa Fortuna for 3 years. We really enjoyed living there, everyting worked, and once Zhongshan Park opened we had grocery shopping right at our doorstep. Cafes, restaurants and entertainment are all at 2 mins walking distance. Easy transport links close by. Buses through Ah Hood, and from Balestier Road it's just minutes to Novena MRT station. Toa Payoh MRT reachable by 10 min walk from the flat. If the landlord had wanted to extend our lease we would have loved to stay. -

Poor Security and Cleaning personnel
The security guards do not understand English very well. We always have lighting problems in the lift lobby and it takes ages to be resolved. The gym is a mediocre really! -

Not worth the money!
Poor interior, Cheap quality walls. Gym : one treadmill and one cycle is shared among 106 units . Frequent lift breakdown: Once my son went to visit his friend in another block. The lift was stuck for 3 hours. The alarm wont work at all. It was when he started yelling and his friend (about to go for his class) recognised the voice called for help. Ignore the floor area advertised as 100-120 sqft is consumed by the parapet. Poor design, as the rain water is accumulated on some of the floors. Good for bachelors, working near by, who have no choice but to stay near the CBD. Definitely not for Prestige or Family or Students. Noisy: You can never keep the windows open, as there are vehicles passing by every minute, including bus, motor bikes and cars. -

Apartment with forced in Condo facilities
Good investments potential when central districts investors looking nearbys. Located fringe of D12 besides D11, its the nearest development to Toa Payoh MRT in Balestiers'. Also next to coming Zhong Shan Shopping/Offices. Like many newer developments, lots of bay window space wasted, which may be overcome with good interior design and customized furnishing. Feedback from customers who own units, frequent lift breakdown not true except for first few month after TOP. -

Cheap Quality
Swimming pool facilities look very cheap , dirty side gate entrance , side gate frequently down , lift frequently breakdown, very small gym only for one person , toilet at pool area look like contraction site quality, a real "cheapo" developer -
