  landmark!

  bencoolen house and strand hotel used to be side by side, remember it. now they both remain but look different in modern era. moved away when i was young and it used to be forgotten awhile but now seems like got more tenants living in it. happy to still see this landmark although the street has very much changed.

  popular with students

  a hot property among students as many schs nearby. the exterior is old but the interior is renovated modern look. some of my student friends stay here and i visit them, looks good. good for conversion of unit into those co-living space or sharehouse for more economical pricing when renting out to them.

  Bencoolen House has plenty of life yet with its long leasehold and fantastic location in the heart of Singapore. complted in 1965, the founding year of Singapore
