Central but not really central
Despite being classed as central area, be expected to travel up to 1hr to reach the closest mrt (bus wait time included). Public transport here can be improved as currently only 2 buses serve the bus stop here and these buses tend to have really long wait times (approx 20mins). The bus journey itself tends to be about 20mins to reach toa payoh or boon keng (so you might be better off walking 24mins to reach Boon Keng MRT). For those who drive, this area isnt too bad as it's near the expressway. But this is where a whole new can of worms opens up. The dust from the expressway is pretty bad. If I left my window open during the day, by the time I reached home, every surface of my house is covered in dust. -
