Evening,

Do you meant is there a need to engage an agent for renting out a whole unit after you fulfill the minimum occupation period?

It's up to individual.

Those prefers not to do, have to find means to advertise their unit and this might take sometime for their unit to be taken up. Advertising costs will be incurred and spare time will be spent on viewings while you can use them on other much more important stuffs.

With an agent, he/ she is able to market your unit fast with the current tenants on hand, push the unit to his team of property agents. Whole process will shorten and advertising costs are borne by us. Only cost incurred by you will be the agent's commission.

1/2 month's rental for 1 year lease
1 month's rental for 2 years lease

Hope it helps! Cheers!

Dear sir/madam,

Engaging a real estate salesperson or not is entirely up to the individual owner, since the unit belongs to the owner. The important issue about renting the unit out or selling it requires some in depth knowledge especially the documentation portion, such that the seller or landlord will not get into unnecessary problems if paperworks are not done properly.

All real estate salesperson are required to be registered with the Council of Estate Agencies before they are allowed to practise.

Do you need any further assistance?
