In such circumstances, you are unable to invoke on the diplomatic clause to terminate the lease agreement. Your option is to speak to the landlord and hope that landlord is kind enough to agree for the premature termination of lease. If not, you may wish to work out other solutions with landlord to see if he agrees for a replacement tenant for you, where you should be responsible for locating a replacement tenant. Do note that landlord has no obligations to agree to the above proposals and in such cases, you have no other options but to see out the lease agreement.
