BSD of approx 3% is applicable to ALL residential properties regardless of citizenships or nationalities .

If you are not singaporean , 5% ABSD is applicable for p r permanent residents , in addition to BSD .

NO bsd or absd when selling hdb.

Hi,

BSD & ABSD as the name suggests are Buyer Stamp Duties, hence only applicable during purchase. Regardless of the purchase type and nationality, 3% stamp duties apply for all residential purchase.

If you are upgrading, no ABSD applicable unless you are PR-PR household, which means a 5% ABSD applies on top of 3% BSD.

Good evening,

Buyer stamp duty is at 3% of purchase price. As for ABSD, it is only applicable if you are SPR buyers. The current rate is 5% of purchase price, payable with cash.

Hi,

BSD = Buyer Stamp Duty. Anyone who purchase a property is liable to pay BSD. It is 1% on the first $180,000, 2% on the next $180,000, with the balance being charged 3%.

ABSD = Additional Buyer Stamp Duty. You need not pay any ABSD for HDB even if you choose to purchase first then sell off your existing HDB. But if you're a PR/PR family nucleus, then ABSD rate is 5%.
