Are you able to check if the checks have been banked in and cleared ?

This is what most tenants do wrong.

The TA is to be SIGNED by LL FIRST, then handed to tenant to sign.

Not the other way round.

Hi ,

by proper procedure , you should not have signed a TA , without the Landlord having signed the TA 1st.
Even during the signing of the TA , you should have gotten back your Letter of Intent , with the landlord having signed and accepted your offer to rent.
The landlord 's agent should have prepared in duplicates the signed TA ( by the landlord ) , and after your signature , you have 1set to be retained by you on the spot.
