I am Malaysia PR, I bought a resale HDB last year with 3 year MOP.

I left my job and found difficult to get another one.

If I decide to working at Malaysia (mywife too), can I sell my HDB and how much penalty maximum will charge 5%? 10% 20% or can I choose to rent out my whole HDB temporarly?

Morning Adrain,

As you have not fulfilled your MOP, it's quite unlikely that HDB will allow you to sell it off. If both of you have got employment in Malaysia, you can write in to HDB, to seek approval for rental of your whole unit.
