I am 72 years old. I willed my HDB flat to my son and daughter 50:50. But my daughter is living overseas. If she decides to live permanently overseas, can she sell her shares to my son? If so, how can my son do that?

Morning, In your statement, you have WILLED the unit to your son and daughter but your daughter might be staying overseas permanently. WILL will only be effective upon your demise hence instead of letting your daughter perform a part sales of your unit to your son, why not contact the lawyer to have your WILL edited, which will definitely cost lesser. Not understanding what I should edit my will to. I want to leave the flat to the both of them so each of them will have something. If I edit and just leave everything to my son, my daughter will not inherit anything. Please advise and how will editing my will cost lesser. Thank you.
