Hi Guru, we are having difficulties to communicate with the landlord's agent who is extremely nasty after we signed the 2 years contract. before we signed the contract, she seems quite easy to communicate with, however after we signed the contract , she has become extremely tough, in the letter of intent , the only thing we asked for was a queen size bed for our guest room. from the time we signed the TA till the handover she had 2 months to get the bed ready as the apartment was vacant because the landlord has moved to overseas to work, at the handover, we saw only uninstalled bed and a rolled mattress which she purchased from IKEA, we could not accept the uninstalled bed , then she suggested we go and find a contractor to install the bed and we pay half of the installation fee, we agreed on with goodwill basis, however now she refused to pay the half as she said the contractor is not from IKEA.we don't have ant details or contact of the landlord, please help

Dear Wenny

I am sorry that you have to go thru such an experience. Sometimes, there could be some communication gap and result in misunderstanding. My advise is to approach the agents's company to request for assistance to handle this matter. If this fails, there are other levels of appeals. However, I am sure the agency will be able to help you find an amicable answer to your frustrations.
