hi guru
im a co owner of a flat bought with my mum...i was single back then....
my mum decided to remarry and decided to sell the house ....
she already bought a new flat under bank loan with her fiancee
she is now appealing to the hdb for the sale cash proceeds to be given to her entirely....
so my problem is now....iwoudl like to buy a flat with my husband ...but was told that i need to deposit 50 percent of the cash proceed ( from my share) to the hdb....
if i didnt get a single cent from this current house.....am i still required to pay the hdb 50 percent of it....
since my mum is the main owner and me as the coowner...willl the hdb issue two separate cheque with each of our name on our own cheque or is it a joint cheque?...
im at my wits end ...if lets say worst thing happen and may end up homeless...
i do not want that to happen to me ....please advise me in this matter..thnks
