Help and clarification required on the eligibility of foreigners buying property in Singapore. Many conflicting websites and advice online. I am a UK resident wanting to purchase a condo in Singapore for my own use and occupation. As I understand I am allowed to to purchase without prior approval on any apartment within a building or any unit in an approved condominium development under the Planning Act? Are there any restrictions and or conditions imposed on the property if I was to sell in the short term (<3 years)or rent the property out? Any advice or information given would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
