Agent Fee

If I rent a condo (ex: $2,900 for 2 years), do I need to pay an agent fee?
If I rent a condo that is over $3,000 for 2 years, is there no agent fee?
I'm not sure how it works and who will pay the fee, landlord or tenant.
Also is the fee different if I rent an year, not 2 years?

I really want to know the agent fee in Singapore, so please advise me if you know anything :)

Hi,

I would be most glad to assist you further and please feel free to let me know if you need any assistance. Have a good day ahead. By the way, I believe you are asking this question as a tenant? And basically as long as you engage an agent services/ assistance, then commission is payable on your part.

Did you engage any agent to help you source for the rental unit? If yes, then be prepared to pay agent fees. If you are unwilling to pay any agent fees, then you will need to run through the listings to search for suitable listings on your own, then check with the individual listing agents if agent fees is applicable on tenant before you make the arrangement to view.
