Old, outdated but spacious
You need to look at the unit very carefully. It’s old so there can be issues big and small, which can be very costly to a renter. Agree up front before signing lease. 3 month repairs on elevators which is insane. Check first. Pools is like a giant kids pool. Can’t swim laps but good for kids. Gym is in B1 and no window. It’s ok for quick workout. Playground is old but ok. 10 min walk to Stephen’s but hot. Relatively quiet area.

Old condo, large units but poor management
The condo is in the midst of a never ending lift upgrade and it makes movement very difficult for residents especially the elderly and those with kids. Lightings are slow to be repaired, the underground parking floods during rain and inter floor leakages are common. Past positive reviews are probably by agents and those who have never lived in the condo. There are better options nearby and the management should do better. If not, council should consider new personnels.

Good location, aging and needs more care
Condo has good facilities. Given that it is more than 2 decades old, expect to pay more, especially if you are in unit in original condition. Note for low rise units that faces road and frequent fumigations from neighbouring condos. Facilities are good but old. Management office is very friendly and reliable. Overall, good for both local and overseas students staying given the location. It is between Newton and Stevens, so nearest amenities is around 15mins walk away.
