  Hi my house is valued $350,000 I want to sell it and move to a better location , i need an agent to assist me in selling my HDB , is the selling hdb process very lengthly ?

  We will be hitting 5 year MOP in June 2019. When is the earliest month for me to list my house and also look for another flat? We would like to shift out soonest possible due to space issue. (currently is 3room flat, looking for 5room flat) Considering HDB processing time, time looking for seller, and also renovation time for new flat, am I able to list my flat earlier, say in March 2019? So that I can get everything settle by June 2019. Previously wrote to HDB about ending the MOP earlier but was rejected.

  Hi, We got our PR in April 2015 and we will fulfill the 3 years PR requirements to purchase the HDB in April 2018. We are in the process of sorting out the loan eligibility with the bank now. Is it ok for us to start looking/viewing for the properties as it could take a while to find the right property? Or we need to wait till we complete the 3 years PR status? Any advise or suggestion on this is much appreciated? Thanks, John

  I find it a strange phenomena that similar sized HDB flats with just a few hundred metres difference or less to the mrt (sometimes just divided by one road) can have a $100k plus and sometimes $200k difference in pricing in Bukit Panjang (perhaps other estates as well). The actual walking isn't actually a huge difference so are people foolish to pay so much higher for that slight difference in distance to mrt?

  My husband and I bought a HDB 3room flat in 2014. We would like to sell our house due to the following reasons but is unable to do so due to MOP. Does HDB allow any special case? 1) We just welcome our first child last year and due to our work schedule, we want to stay together with our parents or get a unit in their blk. Current schedule does not work out as husband is always outstation. 2) Parent's next door neighbor is selling their unit, it is really the best for us to just get the unit next to them. We do not want to miss this chance. 3) Space issue. We are also looking into expanding our family, and need a bigger flat (5room size). Current flat is 65sqm I am really desperate and hope to shift out ASAP.

  I have a 3 room flat (below 5 yrs MOP). Wall between the 2 rooms has been hacked away and is replaced by a folding door in between. I will be staying in 1 of the bedroom. Is this still eligible for subletting the room?
