Only 6 minutes from Newton MRT

Firstly, Kopar at Newton is within walking distance to Newton MRT station. It will only take you 6 minutes from your condo to Newton MRT station by foot. 

Although most who can afford a unit here will probably drive, this could be useful for those with children who need to make their own way around town. If you’re looking to eventually rent out a unit here, expats who don’t drive will appreciate the accessibility too. 

Within walking distance to Newton Food Centre

Here’s one for the foodies: Kopar at Newton is one street away from Newton Food Centre, where you can enjoy good food from noon to midnight. The iconic food centre was featured in the Crazy Rich Asians movie, and is home to many famous hawker stores. 

Well-connected to the CBD

Thirdly, Kopar at Newton is located within District 9, which is reasonably near the Central Business District (CBD). Residents who stay at Kopar at Newton will be well connected to the CBD both by car (12 minutes) as well as by public transport (30 minutes). Residents will also be one MRT stop away from the Orchard Road shopping district. 

Not to forget, Newton MRT station is an interchange, so you will have easy access to two MRT lines (the Downtown Line and North-South Line).

Upcoming Health City Novena to be ready in 2030

Kopar at Newton is also strategically located near Health City Novena, which is an upcoming medical hub that will be ready by 2030. The development will expand on the existing facilities of Tan Tock Seng Hospital with a new Ambulatory Centre, National Skin Centre expansion, National Healthcare Group headquarters and Integrated Intermediate Care Hub. Beyond the healthcare facilities, Health City Novena will also be integrated with research and education, commercial, leisure and public spaces. 

Being in close proximity to Health City Novena could increase the value of Kopar at Newton once the development is complete. It could also open up rental opportunities, which may be attractive for those intending to buy a unit for investment purposes.
