At the start of 2018, it is timely for me to update you on the new journey that I have taken this past year. I officially left the Singapore Armed Forces in OCT 2016, and joined Huttons Asia Pte Ltd as an associate. It wasn’t easy kick-starting an entirely new career outside the military, but the journey has been rewarding.
Since then, I have gained significant experience in this scope of work. I had the privilege to assist two very experienced Property Agents in property leasing and purchasing. In particular, my leasing experience focuses on district 9/10/11/15 - River Valley, Orchard, Bukit Timah, Marine Parade and MEYER road.
I am also involved in many Huttons projects namely *Highline , New Futura, Kallang riverside, and the one and only EC this year Rivercove. *
Through 2017, I had taken the opportunity to clarify on my own mission and values in my chosen career path. I realised that even though I am new to this business, I had qualities which would serve my clients well. First and foremost, with my Christian values as my anchor, I am sincere, honest and strive for integrity to be the focus of everything that I do. I go all-out to fight for my clients benefit, with their best interests at heart.
As Colossians 3:23 states “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for your human masters”. Living by this verse, I am willing to learn and take on new challenges, and I resolve to put in my full effort into every project entrusted to me regardless of its value.
