About Marcus
Prior to joining the Real Estate Industry, Marcus Boo's first profession as a Project Engineer at DSTA taught him the multi-faceted skills of managing multi-million dollar projects. After almost a year, he quickly discovered his passion lay in doing his own business and took the leap of faith to switch to being self-employed.
Marcus started his own business doing online marketing for overseas clients to a worldwide audience from the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia etc. He sold over a million dollars worth of products and made over USD$250,000 commission in less than 1.5 years. These 6 years of online marketing honed Marcus' copywriting skills, understanding of business system and strategic sales presentation.
To broaden his business knowledge and experience, Marcus opened up a fashion retail outlet at Square 2 Shopping Mall in Novena. Although the business was later sold off, the operations of an offline business gave Marcus the expertise in negotiation, retail, offline marketing and sales as well as managing employees etc.
In 2010, Marcus' keen interest in investing spurred him to explore the real estate industry and he made his first move by investing in a Freehold Property in District 11 which till date have appreciated over 30% and gave him over 150% ROI on his capital while also providing passive income every month. This investment sparked his passion for Real Estate and he decided to become a Real Estate Salesperson.
While Marcus began his RES career by focusing on Commercial/Industrial properties, he soon realised his passion lay in Residential and he soon made a switch.
On his first try at project marketing, he became the Top Project Producer for his Team and earned numerous shining testimonials from his satisfied clients.
