After graduating from NUS Real Estate, Kate was first introduced into the retail industry after joining a property agency that provides retail consultancy expertise and leasing services for both landlords and tenants.

She fell in love with the opportunity to work with various landlords in opening new malls. From working with the architects, planning the retail trade mix to marketing units to tenants, Kate has built a strong foundation in the retail scene. Armed with the relevant retail knowledge, she has assisted business owners in securing suitable spaces to set up their businesses.

Since then, she never looked back and joined one of the biggest retail landlords in Singapore and gained new perspectives to manage a fully-operational mall as a Leasing Manager. During the term, she has forged strong relationships with many well-established F&B and retail tenants as well as helped many young and aspiring entrepreneurs find suitable locations.
