I have bought a EC and is on Defer payment scheme (DPS). Total loan needed is abt 600k and I took a bank loan of 500k (due to TDSR) and has a shortfall of 100k ( which will be deducted from my cpf acct after the sale of my current hdb flat).
My question:
1) The EC developer will ask for 65% of payment for those on DPS before key collection. (65% amts to 325k and bank can disbursed it to the developer from my 500k loan). How abt the shortfall?? Will the bank request me to pay up the shortfall of 110k first before they can disburse the mortgage loan?? I'm quite confused as to do I need to settle the shortfall first before loan can be disburse.
2) when do I need to pay the balance of 35%?
