Hi Property Guru,

Can I ask a question? I want to rent out a room. I have a tenant, she has temporary work permit, will be got Work/Permit card end of this month, she urgent to rent a room, she is Malaysian. Can I rent a room to her and submit to HDB?

Hi Mr. Richard,

If the temporary work permit you mentioned in the post is refer to AIP (Approval-In-Principle), then it is safe to rent the room out and report to HDB.
