Hi is there anyone who can advise me?

Currently my sis(25) and i(33) are living in my parent's 5Rm HDB(fully paid down) in tampines and my parents would like to transfer the flat to us 2 sisters (i am married but hold no hdb/pte property at all now & sister is single)- Is it possible?

If so what is the procedure like? Must i pay my parents money or just the amount combined in mine and my sis's cpf+ top up cash/bank loan?

Then on the other hand, can my parent thereafter buy another resale flat (2 or 3 room) to live then?

The reason is that currently 5 rm hdb is to cramp and noisy for a family like ours!

Thanks in advance

Afternoon Christine,

Under the transfer of HDB, only you and your spouse are eligible as your sister didn't fulfill any of the eligiblity scheme/s stated by HDB.
You are required to return the amount of CPF + interest that your parents have used for the current unit, either by using your funds in CPF or by means of loan.
As to whether your parents are eligible to purchase another unit, that would depend on their age, income status, CPF amount and credit records.
