Usually, you should be able to feel the depth of the experience when you engage an open discussion with the agent.

Awards and accolades can be an area but may be quite deceptive as a single high-value sales can put an agent on top which may seem like he done a lot.

Clients testimonial is another yet another source.

You may probably ask for proof of past transactions however due to clients confidentiality most morally ethical agent will not show.

In fact, any of the agents who replied in this post would likely have done numerous transaction.

Experience is one thing but chemistry is another.

I don't mind to share but definitely we cant show all info as I have to respect my previous clients privacy as well. Generally speaking, the agent should be able to recall the events clearly and also have OTP to show with details. It depends on each agent as well. Client testimonials is another way to verify.
