Hi, I bought a 1-bedroom condo @700k 2 years ago under my name & made the following payment;
1. 1% Option Fee, 7K (Hard cash)
2. 4% Cash $28K (Hard cash)
3. 3% Stamp fee - 5400,15.6K (Hard cash)
4. 15% CPF/Cash $106,800, CPF 80K + Hard cash 26.8K
5. 60% Bank Loan, $420k (Bank loan)
Can Gurus advise me:
1) If I sold the condo @ 730K. I understand I must refund $80K back to my cpf? How much hard cash can I take back? And any other fees I need to deduct from the sales?
2) Is it possible that my husband and I joint name to buy another BTO condo and only sell off my existing condo after we can shift in the new condo (need a place to stay). But I will need my cpf to pay for the down-payment of the 2nd condo with my husband. Any advice?
3) If we don’t go for another private condo, can I apply BTO EC with my husband? What is the payment scheme for EC under husband and wife scheme?
Note, my husband has no property under his name. We are both Singaporeans.
