Hi I am Singapore Citizen and my fiancee is PR we are looking to get a HDB resale flat.
However my fiancee have a property in Malaysia any agents can assist on the appeal letter to HDB and also on the HDB resale flat?

I can assist to write an appeal letter although its success depends on the circumstances your fiance owned the property. Do note if you are a first timer, you may be eligible for CPF grant for buying a resale. However do note that due to your fiance status owing a property overseas, you may not be eligible for the grant even if HDB approves your appeal to buy a resale HDB. (Condition for CPF grant must not own or dispose private or overseas property within 30 months before purchase of HDB). Therefore it is important to plan what type of clearance and exemptions you want HDB to provide before drafting the appeal letter.     For the condition, (Condition for CPF grant must not own or dispose private or overseas property within 30 months before purchase of HDB), if i transfer the ownership to my parents, can i apply for the grant, since currently the house is of 50% under my name.
