Hi gurus,i currently have a scenario whereby divorce is finalised and court order states that flat needs to be surrendered back to hdb..flat is not mature enough to be sold open market..any possibility to appeal to hdb to sell it open market??any gurus seen it approved??thanks..

Afternoon,

Under your court order, you are suppose to sell away your unit within 6 months grace.
With the absolute, you can write in the HDB to appeal for selling your unit in the open market.
Personally, I have done a few such cases.
However, the final approval is still dependent on HDB.

Thanks your question.

With regards to your situation you indeed may need to write to HDB to apepeal it. If possible try to do it asap as election is coming hence government may be more lenient at this point in time.
