Hi gurus. I rented a room for 5 mths as per contract. At first I decided to move out early before which is somewhere in 5 April . the contracts end on 19/may, due to not feeling secured staying there. I told my intentions to the landlord and she say cannot as I have to follow the date in comnnces. Or she will not return my deposit. So I agreed to stay until the contracts ends. After moving out on 19 she didn't pay me back my deposit. And she told me she only can pay on 27 may as her new tenant pay her deposit on the day itself. So I agreed. Till today 6 June she has been fooling me around saying that today tomorrow and so on .
If I call or text she won't reply me and after few days only she will return the text.
And I called her to the status. She won't pickup an switch off her hp
And she arrogantly says don't call her.
She has been giving me all kind of excuses. What should I do.?? Can I make a police report?
