Hi

1. I plan to buy a resale flat from my neighbour (which is near my parent's house).

2. My neigbour is also looking to buy another flat.

Queries:
a. Since both the buyer & seller have agreed, if we would like an agent to process our documents, does it mean the agent's commission can be reduced?

b. Can we use the same agent for both transactions 1&2?

Hi Lim,

The commission is negotiable.
Under the new CEA regulation, one agent cannot represent both seller & buyer.

Afternoon,

Under the new CEA regulation, no double representation is allowed, hence one agent can only represent either side.
If you have such requirements, feel free to contact me for discussion on both the process flow for the legal procedure, along with the commission chargeable. Read More
