Very interesting proposition you have. Maybe I can consider printing out my namecards like coffee bean cards such that for every 3 units you sell through me, I can give you certain discounts. If you are looking for discount in commission, are you willing to sell your unit at a discount too?
To take up selling of your unit with commitment requires consistent marketing effort which incurs cost. Couple that with possibility that buyers are brought in by cobroke agents and we need to share comms with the cobroke agent, we could be left with just a plain bowl of porridge left to eat after selling your unit, or will you not accept any offers if it is from a buyer through cobroke agent?
A professional salesperson needs to bring food home for their family therefore we need to take care of our interest 1st before taking care of yours because I need to surive. This is not my part time job that any income here is a bonus so I can simply give you discounts. Perhaps you may even be able to find salesperson who is willing to charge 0.5% for selling but whether are they able to focus or not, I dare not comment. If all sellers come in to ask agent for discounts, maybe we will be only left with a pool of part time agents in future. Whether your unit can sell or not, it will not matter as your commission will only be a bonus.
