Under existing regulations, a single cannot purchase a BTO direct from the HDB. This may change in the coming future but we will have to keep our fingers crossed.
A single above 35 can purchase a resale flat from the open market and be eligible for a singles grant provided he/she meets the income criteria.
You may also wish to consider going private.
